A message from Jo Fallshaw—owner of Fallshaw Group

Fallshaw Group is part of the International BDS (boycotts, divestments and sanctions) movement, where companies of good conscience refuse to buy and sell to Israeli owned companies (and companies and organisations facilitating the illegal military occupation) while they are in breach of the United Nation’s resolutions and the International Court of Justice and Internation Criminal Court rulings regarding genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid.

However, we are conscious that sometimes Palestinian companies operate from Israel-Palestine, and some Israeli companies have active and deliberate policies to foster multiculturalism and equality that have no part in Israel’s actions. We do not penalise companies that share our human rights values.

If you are an Israeli or Palestinian company that has tangible human rights policies and practices, then please call or email us, and we’ll have a conversation and make sure you are not subject to collective punishment in our trading policies.

For the avoidance of doubt, we recognise and value the many Jewish Voices for Peace and are grateful for their friendship and solidarity. Our criticism is solely directed at the actions of the State of Israel and is in no way antisemitic.

We wish for peace and goodwill to all.

On a personal note

I am horrified by the man-made famine that Gazans are suffering. Famine is not declared until at least 30% of children are suffering "acute malnutrition". At this point, starving children are not only at risk of dying but also of having permanent brain damage and damage to internal organs. Starving children are much more prone to disease, and the deliberate destruction of Gaza's water distribution, sanitation, housing and healthcare systems means disease is now rife.

Israel and the US implemented a total blockade of Gaza on 2nd March 2025. They blocked ALL food, water, medicine, healthcare supplies, fuel, and other goods for 3 months! On the 3rd of June, they started to allow starvation rations in – deliberately restricting calorie intake, continuing to ban infant formula, milk powder, fresh and other nutritious food; instead putting Gazans onto a diet predominantly comprising dry starches. Breastfeeding mothers cannot produce milk when they are starving, so the banning of infant formula is a particularly egregious war crime.

The US-Israeli 'aid delivery system' has been described by the UN as "an abomination" and "a death trap". Israeli soldiers literally line the access roads approaching the Death Traps and massacre aid seekers almost daily.

Israel has forced Gazans, under pain of death, to 'evacuate' 85% of Gaza (and are completing the process of turning Northern and Central Gaza into rubble), the residual of the 2.3 million Gazans that have not yet been killed (announced by Trump to be "1.8 or 1.9 million people") have been forced into crowded tent cities without sanitation or access to clean water in the South of Gaza.

All people of good conscience should be speaking up to stop this catastrophe.
